What's an onlay?
It's a lab-fabricated replacement for one or more surfaces of your tooth. Dr. Sullivant prepares the tooth and an impression is made. 2-3 weeks later, the onlay is cemented in place. We provide this valuable service because we feel they onlays are more conservative than a full crown. They are beautiful, feel as natural as your own tooth, and can last 10-20 years.
