Colgate^® PreviDent^® 5000 Plus (Rx) is a prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste that can deliver 5000 ppm fluoride. It combines the cleaning power of a toothpaste with prescription-strength fluoride for dental caries protection.

Colgate^® Prevident^® 5000 Dry Mouth is a self-topical neutral fluoride toothpaste containing 1.1% (w/w) sodium fluoride for use as a dental caries preventive in adults and pediatric patients.

Colgate^® Prevident^® 5000 Sensitive is a self-topical neutral fluoride dentifrice containing 1.1% (w/w) sodium fluoride and 5% potassium nitrate. 

Directions for Prevident 5000 Plus: Patients 6 years of age and older, apply a thin ribbon to toothbrush. Brush thoroughly once daily for 2 minutes, preferably at bedtime. After use, adults expectorate. For best results, do not eat, drink, or rinse for 30 minutes. Patients 6-16 years old expectorate after use and rinse mouth thoroughly. This should be used once daily in place of your regular toothpaste.

Directions for Prevident 5000 Sensitive: Adults & Children 12 years of age and older, apply at least a 1-inch strip onto a soft-bristle toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute & expectorate. Rinse mouth thoroughly and use twice daily. Children under 12 years of age should consult a dentist or physician.
